My passion for magazines developed early beginning with the bright colored Cartoons Magazine covers of my youth into the world of motorcycles and later hot rods. I remember staying up late at night studying every page of the new Motocross Action Magazine (still in circulation today!) and being captivated by the action photography of the articles. Nothing was more impressive than turning the page and seeing a two page spread (B/W in those days) of the latest motocross bike with the front wheel up and shooting a roost coming out of a turn... simply AWESOME!

My career in magazine design started just as a new technology was emerging called DTP (desk top publishing) using Aldus PageMaker to create the magazine pages. Then we generated our own on-site film for the printer, talk about your hands-on-design...

Moving forward I have been fortunate to combine my passion for automobiles/musclecars and magazine design working on such titles as MuscleCar Review, Mopar Muscle, Chevy Truck Magazine, JP Magazine under the Dobbs Publishing banner and more recently with AMOS Press on titles such as Corvette Enthusiast, MUSCLECAR Enthusiast, Chevy Enthusiast and most recently with the latest title AUTO Enthusiast.

Passion for great magazine design still fuels me to this day. I hope that I too can entertain and stimulate today's reader when they turn the next page of their magazine.
